Wharncliffe Weekender 09
The 4th Wharncliffe Weekender is coming! Stick 4th/5th July in your diary now and if you are free, head over to Sheffield and take part in the fun and games to help raise money for the Weston Park Hospital Cancer Charity. Compete against Peaty in the dual slalom or dress up for the XC ride.

Back by popular demand for the 4th year and building on the success of previous years, the Weekender looks to be a permanent fixture on the MTB calendar.
The new 2009 website has been launched with information, news and updates on the event as well as an entry form and a link to the Just Giving site in case you can't in person support on the day.
There's a full program of events including:
- 'serious' XC race
- fancy dress fun XC ride
- with an additional prize for teams of 4
- tug of war
- dual slalom in arena
- overnight camping
- Peaty's Sunday Session MTB forest ride (book early for an escorted ride round the woods with Peaty, Farmer Jack and crew)
Spectators are welcome, with a minimum donation of £5 that includes camping.
Check out the site and drop the organisers a line with any questions.
